Do you have any questions about what you need to accomplish your jump?

What are the age restrictions?

You must be at least 18 years old to skydive. All jumpers are required to bring a valid photo id. There is no such thing as “too old” as long as you are in good health. Parents/guardians can not sign on your behalf.

Is there a weight limit?

The standard weight limit is 220/235 lbs (males) and 200 lbs (females) however, each person may be evaluated individually, height and physical condition of the candidate are important factors. If you have concerns regarding this matter, feel free to contact us: 609-294-5858.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather and shoes with laces (you cannot jump in flip-flops or sandals) no necklace, rings, watches etc.

What if the weather is bad?

Don’t be discouraged! but remember the weather maybe different from where you are coming from. the weather conditions often change during the day, and you’ll be able to fill out your paperwork when you arrive.

How long do I free fall?

You will free fall for at least 30 seconds.

How long is a parachute ride?

The parachute ride is between 4 and 6 minutes depending on how crazy you want it to be.

Is landing hard?

Normally there is less impact than jumping off a chair. You will be getting a briefing on exiting and landing positions before going up.

What if the parachute doesn’t open?

By FAA regulation your parachute system is equipped with two parachutes: main and a reserve. If the main parachute operates improperly, the reserve will be deployed. Reserve parachutes are inspected and repacked by a FAA certified rigger every 180 days, even if it wasn’t used.

What if something happens to my instructor?

Our tandem systems are equipped with AAD’s (automatic activation devices). If you pass a certain altitude at a certain speed, a small computer in your AAD will automatically deploy your reserve parachute.

What if I chicken out?

It rarely happens but we promise no one will force you to jump. You can change your mind anytime before boarding the plane and if you purchased the jump that day at the office you will get a full refund. (no refund for purchase on line or any advanced purchases)

How do I breathe?

You can breathe normally in free fall.

Can we share a video?

Two people can appear in one video on the ground preparing for the skydive and if sharing the ride before exiting the airplane. But only one tandem can be filmed in freefall.
