Welcome to Skydive East Coast

Located just off the Garden State Parkway just across the bay from Long Beach Island, Skydive East Coast offers the perfect place to make your first tandem skydive. With amazing views of the Jersey Shore’s beaches and nearby Atlantic City, Skydive East Coast’s highly experienced group of instructors take pride in providing a safe, fun and memorable experience. We also offer full video and photography services to preserve every breathtaking moment from your tandem jump. Come skydive with us and you will never look at the sky the same.

Why should I choose Skydive East Coast?

Skydive East Coast offers brand-new facilities – hangers, office, clean bathrooms, wireless internet – at Eagles Nest Airport, an easily accessible location just off the Garden State Parkway. More importantly, Skydive East Coast is owned and operated by skydivers. We are local small-business owners invested in our community, and run a gimmick-free operation (you won’t find us charging hidden fees for gear to make your tandem jump). Skydive East Coast doesn’t use online skydiving resellers or booking agencies. Just call us directly to book your jump, and we offer gift certificates all year round.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY OF YOUR JUMP:  Tandem skydiving is the most widely used method to introduce first-time jumpers to the sport. You will be paired with a licensed tandem instructor who will join you on the jump and provide you with all the training you need to safely make a tandem skydive.

When you arrive at Eagles Nest airport for your appointment, our friendly staff will start the process of completing the paperwork necessary for you to make a tandem skydive. This initial instruction will include a short video reviewing the legal aspects regarding your jump.  Additional safety briefing instructions will be provided by Skydive East Coast’s staff.  This will cover airplane procedures, what to expect in freefall and how to prepare for a safe landing.

We encourage our first-time jumpers to ask questions throughout your training. Skydive East Coast considers every jump an opportunity to learn, as well as have fun. And your safety is our number one priority.

Before boarding the plane, you will be provided with a jumpsuit and all the gear you need to safely skydive. Please dress appropriately for the weather and make sure you bring comfortable sneakers that lace tightly (no open toed shoes, flip-flops, or heavy boots with lace hooks).

On the way to altitude, you’ll have the chance to sit back and enjoy incredible views of the New Jersey coast and Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day, the Atlantic City skyline and Cape May County peninsula are visible to the south, while Long Beach Island and Seaside stretch up the coast to the north.

As the time to jump nears, your tandem instructor will securely attach your harness to the parachute system in preparation for the door opening. With your adrenaline pumping, your instructor will guide you to the door for the moment of truth. Words can’t adequately describe that first moment after jumping from a plane for the first time as you accelerate to 120 mph.

The intensity of the freefall is matched only by the peaceful bliss of the parachute opening and a roughly five minute canopy flight back to the airport. We also offer video and photo services to capture the entire experience so you can relive the moment and also share with your friends (please, check our specials under “Rates” tab).

    2. Arrive on time
